Directions:

The fields are east of the Fort Snelling golf course.

From the West:

Take the 62 Crosstown east to the traffic light at Hiawatha.  Keep going through the light and get in the right hand lane.  Take the very next exit which is marked only by an orange sign.

From the North:

Take I-35W to Hiawatha south.  Follow Hiawatha south past Minnehaha Park all the way to the 62 Crosstown.  At the traffic light turn left and get in the right hand lane.  Take the first exit which is marked only by an orange sign.

After exiting, follow the road to the end of the ramp to where there is a stop sign.  Turn left and go one block to Bloomington Rd.  There will be a softball field on your right.

Turn right onto Bloomington Rd. and go west past the soccer fields to Colville Ave.  Turn left and go south the length of the soccer fields to Taylor Ave.  At the stop sign turn left again and follow Taylor to the end which is Sibley Ave.  There will be a parking lot on your left.  Park there.  Look north and you will see Field # 1.  North of Field #1 is Field #2. Their address is 6244 Sibley Ave., Fort Snelling, MN.  There is a small service drive that you can use to transport equipment to the dugouts.  But you may not leave your vehicle there.  You must return it to the parking lot.

From the South:

Go north to I-494 then east to where Hwy 5 splits off on the right and goes to the airport.  Follow Hwy 5 past the airport then take the exit for Hwy 55 West and Historic Fort Snelling.  (If you go over the Mississippi, you've gone too far.)  Follow the signs for Fort Snelling.  If you are going north on Hwy 55 over the Mendota Bridge, just get off at Fort Snelling.  The exit to the right off of Hwy 55 will curl back in the opposite direction and become Tower Rd.  You will go down to a stop sign.  At the stop sign turn right onto Bloomington Road and go under Hwy 55.  You are now headed west. Follow Bloomington Rd west to Colville, turn left and go to Taylor, turn left again and go to the parking lot at Field #1.

From the East:

Follow West 7th Street out of St. Paul over the Mississippi River where the road becomes Hwy 5.  Follow the signs for West Hwy 55 and Historic Fort Snelling.  After exiting Hwy 5 the exit will split:  Hwy 55 to the right; Historic Fort Snelling to the left.  Take the Fort Snelling exit and follow it ( the baseball fields will be on your left) all the way up to Bloomington Road where there is a stop sign.  Turn left and head west to Colville, turn left to Taylor, turn left to the parking lot for Field #1.

You may want to park in the lots on Bloomington Road by the softball fields, but it's quite a hike to Field #2 from there.  The service road does travel from Bloomington Road to Fields #2 and #1.

For your first game on Thursday, give yourself and extra 15 minutes to get there and get your bearings.
