The Team Votes To Stay Together

The Saints have voted to keep the team intact for the 2004 season.  There are, however, still several question marks regarding personnel, the schedule and the number of games to be played.  The rumors are flying about what direction the two leagues will take next year.  A faction from the Classic league is trying to reunify the two leagues and move to all wood bats while there is speculation that the Federal league wants to make a move back to aluminum bats.  Stay tuned for more information.

Welcome to the cyber home for the Minnetonka (MN) Saints amateur baseball team.  The Saints play in two 35 & over baseball leagues in the Twin Cities metro area.  Their primary league is the Classic League, which is the premier senior league, and allows the use of aluminum bats and players as young as 32, providing they play only the position of catcher.  The Saints also play in the Federal League, of which they have been a member since 1986.  The Federal League uses only wooden baseball bats and does not allow players under 35 years old to participate.
